  1. As Daniel says simply stunning out there - Been for a walk temp -6c and if your driving your not going anywhere fast
  2. As I said about an hour ago watch for the line to become solid and organised with cells working with each others outflow and this has now happened - All gunna march east now
  3. Erm yep Run the radar scans from 1130 to 1145 - Really organising now and outflow from each cell should aid and keep up the intensity. Am hoping the strong echo further NE can spawn a solid line down to the cell off the coast of Shoebury
  4. Am liking what I see in the Estuary in the last 3 scans. Steve you will be happy as wll Lots more organisation of showers and definate ENE flow now sending them westwards up the Estuary. Crucially showers are forming in the Optimum area now as well Looking good people of this thread
  5. If you want to see some live snow check this out, Kent again http://www.camsecure.co.uk/whitstable_beach_webcam.html
  6. Yh looking good for you guys over there, can see the Snow to my SE from here over your way, that also seems to be heading nearly due West, good luck
  7. Shower in SE Essex pretty much dying whereas over the Estuary fun and games near Herne Bay with some strong echoes
  8. Thames Estuary Shower died a death as soon as it hits land, whereas across the Estuary they keep getting stronger. Kent and Coastal Suffolk and Norfolk going to get the goodies tonight
  9. Leigh On Sea outside the Amber by 2 miles and Southend inside it by 2 miles lol Can still see this as a kent jobbie personally
  10. Last Frame not so great as it hits the land, I truly believe the lack of strong winds are scuppering us in this spell, -14c Uppers with 7c SST really should be having strong radar returns and what we are seeing over sea should be what we are seeing over land for a time
  11. Now THAT is the perfect position for a Thames Estuary Streamer, just east of Burnham and South Of Clacton, come on baby travel up the Thames and give everybody the goods
  12. Is it time for my Cantore Moment, gets ready to head to the MOD site in Wakering!
  13. Much better organisation and oomph on that area of precip SE of Clacton now, and moving ENE to WSW
  14. Lol yep like the Pembrokeshire Dangler (Thats a real term) from North to South. The summer one from France is a Kent Clipper
  15. Agree, must admit never even saw that 2nd dangler further to your east. Its all about luck in these situations, who is to say convection wont fire to your immediate North East and train over your location all night, at least you are in the game so to speak
  16. This looks like a classic Kent Dangler, clips the Suffolk Coast then 10 miles offshore from the Essex Coast and down through Mid Kent and out to sea east of Brighton
  17. We need something just offshore in the crouch Estuary below Clacton ideally, for it too intensify and not mature too soon which is what has scuppered us to some respects this spell. Dont get me wrong we have done well compared to others still got 8cm in the garden but that land mass between Mersea island through Southminster and onwards is really dumbing down the convection and only today when it went true ENE and showers formed just offshore did we feel the real punch of snow
  18. Strong Convection occuring in the Estuary People in Sheerness, Maidstone and Tunbridge Wells your in for a treat! Lucky Buggers
  19. Streamer setting up am wrong side of it by a few miles - Good luck to those of you SW of here
  20. Still at work mate not looked just wondering how hazardous the roads will be when I get back to Leigh On Sea this evening - they seem to have had loads of snow with side roads hazardous
  21. Some seriously Impressive Temps at 2pm today with -2c widely across Essex. Great convection as well
