    No looks ok to me, very similar to the 2010 event, need frictional drag from the coastline with a backing North Easterly further inland. 2009 Done us over because of the Inversion which stunted and warmed the precip in the mid levels then dried them out in the lower 850hpa level giving us polystyrene

    Well it wont get here then, what wind there is and my Anemometer is showing 2mph is from the ENE, Surely the echoes up the coast are going to go towards Chelmsford and Greater London ?

    Yes very unusual - Seen it in the summer up and down the coasts with Sea Breezes but rare in winter

    Think the Amber starts from 2am so am guessing they are expecting an uptick in Convection when the Uppers are at the Maximum of -15c and 500mb heights lowest in the early hours. But the good old saying holds true The weather will do what the weather will do

    I seem to remember a CZ a few years back that came ashore near Southwold and went across Colchester, Stanstead, Harlow, and Herts though Never say never

    There is 1 very definite CZ already down the coast of Suffolk and Essex this will extend down into Medway Towns and further South West
