After thinking it would be a completely dry and frosty spell, this snow has certainly made the cold spell feel more worth it, and another possibility through Sunday to the North and some more through Sunday Night and Monday for some of us too. Cant help but feel later this month and especially January/February could bring severe cold with deeper snow with MJO and el nino in our favour not to mention other factors too. Snow has stopped here now, but left a decent covering of around 2cm maybe a touch more.

I did this when we had snow in March this year and was pretending it was 2013

Likwise here, some places non touched some snowed on.
I done the slipper test, 1.8cm and i did not 'slip' over - i nearly did tho!
Technically that could be 2cm as the snow compacted under foot. Another reason i miss my feline friend, he only made one track on his paws, came back the same way. There, a starwars tip there if i ever!
You might be a about half a cm higher than here but not 100% sure as ive not gone out and done any sort of test lol, but coming down pretty good now seems to be accumulating more rapidly so probably around the same now or soon enough.

Coming down quite thick now, should accumulate more rapidly now if it continues. Listening to some 2010 hits to make it feel abit like Decemebr 2010 while the snow is coming down

Yes it will come, ive not flown my drone in the dark yet or snow! I know it has RTH etc takes some big round ones to do it tho!
Don't think ive ever seen drone footage in the snow at night only seen it in the day over snow covered land, good it has RTH else it could be going anywhere with the visibility in the snow lol. Keeping an eye and hoping that the less cold dew points don't come up here before or during we get the heavy snow as the latest radar has rain heading further north around Hereford/Worcester.

Radar showing snow here too but nothing falling.

Around -3 with severe frost and quite dense freezing fog.
-
Im guessing by Wednesday it will be much busier in here, as for now already down to below -1c here.
-
-2 here, everywhere frozen might help the ground to cool down a bit ready for the cold spell next week, especially with the day time temps being in single figures too. Also first gritter seen last night.
-
Yeah not had any issues until today, especially the last few hours, some parts being quite slow. But it only happens in short intervals then its fine again.

Not a direct hit here but managed to see 1 flash and rumble with it with some decent rain. Good to see a little something.

Proper autumn, strong winds, heavy bursts of rain, drizzle currently which is blowing horizontally. Quite a lot of leaves in the garden already.
-
There has been some rapid development of precipitation south of Leicester on the last few frames, some bright echoes on radar.
