Bits of debris from the chimney in our garden, and 2 trees down up the road with 1 fell on a house!!

Also possibility of some wintry showers coming down from the chesire gap after Doris tomorrow night, with -5 850s crossing the country, but before that hopefully there wont be much damage and everyone stays safe.

Can see this bringing widespread disruption with quite a bit of damage especially around the West Midlands conurbation, I remember think it was storm barney bringing severe gales to the midlands a couple of years back and causing damage to a shopping centre in Birmingham, if these winds do verify which is highly likely, can see it being worse like I said, quite a bit of damage.

GFS certainly brings spring like conditions early next week but what happens thereafter is still up for grabs, not expecting any real cold, like most said probably just a toppler like shown on the model. As for the SSW forecast for the end of the month, I can see it turning out to be a repeat of last year, With a chilly mid/late march.

dusting at best overnight is the most we can expect. Unfortunately a gap has appeared as it approaches my location. Typical.
I agree certainly overnight, and snow showers always have there own mind.

But as is usually the way, the system is losing its bite and breaking as it approaches from the east. Shame.
It is loosing intensity as its approaching us, but there looks to be quite abit also some slightly darker echo's on the radar (only some), and add on that the temperature are starting the fall as the sun is about to go down, we may get a dusting at least to some of us, IMO.

Hopefully hit us about 4pm so a better chance of settling. Hate falling snow which doesn't settle, such a waste!
Hopefully we will see atleast a dusting with this lot, soon will see anyway

Looks like another area of light snow is moving in from the Wash area, moving slightly more north than the last area over more of the central midlands and north midlands possibly..

Coldest since 2013 for certain, but not a lot of snow at all, like most here, just a few flakes blowing in the wind, had a lot more snow In the cold shot back in Mid Jan, hopefully we can get atleast a slight covering or dusting tonight or tomorrow but maybe that's asking to much with this cold spell, but time will tell as everything is nowcasting pretty much.

Just got a feeling that the band of precipitation that is forecast to cross our region Saturday Night, could produce some wet snow.

Although I missed it coming down, just looked out the window and there is a light dusting of snow. Don't know if any more will head this way but skies are clear now. Don't expect it will last through tomorrow though but a nice sight nonetheless.
We're back here again ay haha and it wasn't that long ago, about half hour

Wonder if those showers in the east irish sea will push into the Central Midlands as the rest have been to far West so far.

Even though tempretures are above freezing, the lower DPs are making their way to us now, turning some showers wintry
