  1. Regarding the models, as others have said - a lot of uncertainty exists beyond the xmas period. A critical period in many respects for the direction that weather patterns take after the New Year

Hope that all others on here have a very enjoyable xmas. Dare I use a smile.gif after thatrolleyes.gif

Sometimes, Tamara, whatever you do, you simply cannot win...

Anyhoo, as you say, all is very-much still up-in-the-air regarding the post-Chrimbo period...And have a good one, yourself... :good:

  2. Guess what we've got here? Thick fog and light snow, although nothing showing on the radar  Was it you who pondered on that combination the other day??

My five year old chirped up "Snow and Fog?? That makes SNOG!!". So there you go. A new weather type is founded.

Aye Catch, twas I...Now we've got heavy snow that's settling everywhere. And NOTHING on the radar!! :cray::cray:

Been told road closed there, 18" of snow and fallen trees.

That`s what I call snow and a half. :whistling:

I used to stay in Glenurquhart. It's lovely out that way. And, yes - when it snows it really snows! 16 hours without any power at Xmas 1995!!! :cold:

Are you going to ski yourself over there? :cold:
