    We've had convection all day, but there seems to be a cap of sorts operating: although there are many showers, they are not nearly as deep as they were yesterday? :?: As it's been a much warmer, and more humid, day up here today - I'm thinking in terms of warmer air aloft too, perhaps? :idea: What to you think, WF? :?:

    Lots of very big, very heavy showers about. I've seen no lightning, heard no thunder - but I bet there's been some somewhere! :idea:

    It's been quite sunny at times, since thismorning's rain has cleared through. But - it's horribly humid, and is starting to look threatening. :shock:

    Warm and humid. Some very angry-looking altocumuluses underneath a cirrostratus layer. Probably won't look nearly so interesting, once the Sun gets up. :cry:
