  1. Nice pics Robert. A tad showery in Glasgow today too, then?
  2. Only heavy rain and sleet I'm afraid. A friend told me of hail, thunder and lightning on the Isle of Skye yesterday though.
  3. No thunder or hail to report. But it's sleeting, and there are plenty of snowflakes "up there"! IMO - the air is definitely two or three degrees colder than was expected yesterday. The incoming LP system could deliver us some surpises?
  4. Happy New Year to you, Crazy! It's about time you had some snow.
  5. Needless to say - it rained again up here!  I wouldn't be too optimistic there Frank. I'd expect you to end-up with lightish rain/sleet. :x I hope you get snow though!!
  6. At 4C, it quite possibly is snow! It's just that it's melting on its way down to you.
  7. About 3 or 4C here and grey, damp with a light west wind. As another said - it's the worst kind of winter weather there is. Added to that, we've had no snow either!
  8. Clear and very cold. I don't know what it is here, but it's below -15 somewhere in Highland Region.
  9. Heavy wet snow now in Inverness. Just trying to settle!
  10. It's raining here today.
  11. I can't see any snow here at all. it's only raining again!
  12. Very damned mild. Almost feels like summer!
  13. Blimey! There's a 30cm deep layer of invisible snow in my garden. I can feel it!!
  14. So was it or wasn't it snowing?! You can either see it or you can't!!  Lol, i dont know, i could not see anything, but i could feel it!!!!!!!! How do you know it was snow then?
  15. Same thing here LWH. Bugger-all really. It's case of "Much ado about Nothing!"
  16. Welcome to Net-weather jailender. It's good to someone else from "up here". Not much snow down here at all - maybe 3mm.
  17. Hi Jack. I can see it from here, it's probably no more than 100 metres away. The snow you can see is not wet btw. It's too cold for that. But, it is only about 2mm deep! The washing is all frozen onto the line.
  18. Oh well. El Siabod is about 800m I think. It's not all that far from Snowdonia. I climbed it at New Year 1977. Just before a real arctic blast brought blizzards to just about everywhere!
  19. It's snowing steadily now. And it's below freezing! What's on El Siabod Dunc? Can you see it from where you are??
  20. Just sleet on-and-off up here just now.
  21. Hi John, and welcome to net-weather. Look forward to seeing some pictures. :o
