No thunder or hail to report. But it's sleeting, and there are plenty of snowflakes "up there"!
IMO - the air is definitely two or three degrees colder than was expected yesterday. The incoming LP system could deliver us some surpises?
Needless to say - it rained again up here!
I wouldn't be too optimistic there Frank. I'd expect you to end-up with lightish rain/sleet. :x
I hope you get snow though!!
About 3 or 4C here and grey, damp with a light west wind. As another said - it's the worst kind of winter weather there is. Added to that, we've had no snow either!
So was it or wasn't it snowing?!
You can either see it or you can't!!
Lol, i dont know, i could not see anything, but i could feel it!!!!!!!!
How do you know it was snow then?
Hi Jack. I can see it from here, it's probably no more than 100 metres away. The snow you can see is not wet btw. It's too cold for that. But, it is only about 2mm deep! The washing is all frozen onto the line.
Oh well. El Siabod is about 800m I think. It's not all that far from Snowdonia.
I climbed it at New Year 1977. Just before a real arctic blast brought blizzards to just about everywhere!
