    Just moved the car for my poor husband who will be working under a bridge tonight somewhere in Essex, opened the door and the cold hit me like a very hard slap in the face. Its reading 1degree at the moment.

    Netweather have justice bumped my snow chance up from nothing to 43% on Monday and I'm right on the south east coast

    I'm such an interested weather novice but trying to learn. Ive been watching the uk snow map this morning. The line of snow is directly in our line. Is the snow clump to due fizzle put before reaching us/a wind change. I'm right on the coast so I'm in with very little chance but in curious. If its on that path why not us ?????

    I keep checking our netweather chances of snow, it's changed so much I'm the last few days can't keep up so i think that tells us something.

    Completely agree about this so called "mild blip" do they call 6 degrees mild??? I've been cold since last week. Am I a wimp? In my defense I did live in the middle east.

    so frustrating, its absoloutly bitter here, i think even colder than yesterday. its raining hard but with big white bits in. still windy.

    i was taking the kids to school this morning when my eldest shouts its snowing, it was only tiny but it was enough to send my kids crazy with excitment, my kids have seen more sandstorms then snow. we lived the middle east so they have never seen the white stuff before
