Is it going to be that bad

after this weather on Monday are we in for even a chance of a little snow,??? There are so many opinions on the mod thread. Get extremely confused

Keeping an eye on model thread, someone just it could be the coldest bit of weather we have had In years. Here’s hoping

I like snow but understand that’s it’s a miracle if we get it down here but the one thing that’s starting to really affect me is how dark it is even in the mornings. I’m sitting waiting for my kids and everyone has their lights full beam because it’s so dark already.I don’t know if I can’t remember a winter where it’s been so gloomy for such a long period of time. Where the hell has the sun gone??? Maybe it’s had enough and fancied a holiday

just seen met office weather report for the weekend. they said turning colder tonight and maybe even a chance of some flakes of snow coming in to east Anglia, kent direction. I suppose flakes are better nothing trying to be positive

Jus been to the models thread and it seems that the models are all over the place. Maybe that little chance we had of cold had now left us

If the model keeps changing so much, why do they report on it like this? Are the evening models more important than the others in the day? Sorry if it's a silly question, still learning??

I have notice that the winds have Picked up a lot again here as well.

Put it this way I’m closer to France then what I am to London it’s been pretty depressing weather. I might ask for your uncles address, maybe he’s in a lucky spot. We do get some incredible summers though so I suppose we win there but we are very snow starved. I only really want snow my kids have never seen it, we have been living in the Middle East, they have seen more sandstorms than snow i imagine you have some rough winters, ours are just the same and it’s been like it for a few years, rain and wind and that’s it I think that’s why everyone in the SE is going a little loopy

Hope you don’t mind me having a read of your thread, I am from the SE thread (sorry) I think why people in the SE get so over the top is because we are jealous, very jealous. We never really get any good snow of any type. I’m right on the SE coast and I have to say that we haven’t really seen any other weather apart from rain and wind in weeks, even the sun has decided to do a runner. I’m glad that your at least getting a lovely winter if you could send a little bit of snow or sun our way that would be lovely, hope you don’t mind me having a peak at your thread. Take care

the cold front that's moving in this weekend, is that due to bring us any snow or is there a different front next weekend, I have read on metcheck its getting milder again in the week. will it get cold again after this??? I'm just confused because some places say we might get snow and could be awfuk and others say not a flake, I'm just wondering if I'm making a massive muddle. I have checked its the uk and not the us.

im sorry but this cold front that's moving in, is that next weekend? I think I'm being rather stupid at the moment, I have been on a massive house clean up now my children are back to school. I didn't realise that I had people painting my house yesterday till the afternoon, I heard loads of banging but just didn't pay any attention. I'm like a crazed cleaner at the mo. I am surprised to see how strong the wind is here still is, even the bbc hadn't mentioned the wind on my forecast

For the more knowledgable people on this forum, please can someone explain why weather forecasts (bbc, net check) are still saying the temperature will be around the 6 degrees mark?? Are we not in reach for the cold???Are they hanging on till we get closer to Friday/Saturday. Newspapers all starting to emerge with “snow bomb for east” blah blah

I can’t understand that, I don’t live to far from you either and mine is still showing the squall. The strange thing here is that a few minutes ago my room became really bright. I’m guessing the clouds have cleared and the moon is out.

Your lucky, we might end up in OZ at this rate.
