    Why does it always seem harder for the weather companies to forecast snow down south? They usually get it right up north but down here its always so hit and miss. I always find that they can forecast the snow up north on maps but here they leave it till the last minute or not at all (2010)

    what are peoples general feeling about the weather this winter? i dont want to believe the usual scare mongering from the papers. ive read so many different varying posts about the weather. whats your thoughts????

    It's clouded completely over now here in Rye. The humidity feels very high but it's only 64%. It's almost dark. I've just checked the weather radar and there seems to be a big rain front moving in from the sea. Let's see what the night holds, as long as it's cooler I don't mind.

    Well this morning I have gone out and panic brought milk, bread, soup and we're closing down the hatches

    It's an absolutely stunning morning here in Rye, the fog has finally lifted(still a little hazy) standing on my balcony in the warm sun. It's going to be a beautiful day. Just enjoyed an early morning walk up to the sea with my children. I have to say we did enjoy a lovely BBQ last night when the wind finally went away. SUMMERS HERE (even just for a day)

    well what an interesting night. Rain, hail, thunder and lightening. This morning I've pulled back my curtains to find a layer of snow in the cars, I wasn't expecting that.

    Snowing heavy now. I'm excited for my babies because they have grown up in the UAE and never seen snow at all. I have to say the sky is ful of it here

    Just been looking at the snow map on here and still says lots of snow but people on here disagree. Can someone explain to me which one might/is correct

    BBC weather saying not much snow later, met office saying snow from 02.00 till 07.00 slightly confused AGAIN

    4c here its very grey and the clouds have got that strange color in them when its snowy. Two separate people said to me It looks snowy this morning (maybe I'm being overly hopeful) The odd thing is its just so still, no wind, no clouds moving, nothing.
