We spent the day at Legoland today it’s been quite a nice day. It started off grey and over cast with drizzle but it gradually cleared and I even saw the sun. We did have a big shower around 1.30 but we had made our way on to a covered ride and didn’t realise till we had come out it had rained hard. It was a nice drive home which is good. Tomorrow looks awful AGAIN. The wind and the rain are getting on my nerves. 72% chance of snow here on Wednesday. We shall see

It seems relatively quiet here on the coast. Yesterday wasn’t to bad either really. Is it due to get worse here later, I haven’t really had a chance to keep an eye on Dennis. My kids are all cooped up, driving each other crazy.

They do say that there is a possibility of this happening to Dennis.

It is hammering it down here in Rye. I don’t care now (I do really) if we don’t get snow this year, I would much rather have a warm spring than wet and windy. These storms are really irritating me to. I really don’t like the cold at all, it goes through to my bones and the fact I have to lug a coat about just irritates me even more. I’m done with getting soaking wet through all the time. I think I shall be having a strong word with Dennis when he arrives over the weekend He and his friends just need to leave us alone now.

Just had a flood warning out for my area, they are saying the waves will be high mixed with a spring tide. They also mention that they are more worried because they are still working on the summer sea defences (they move shingle down the beach every year) well I might wake up in the night with wet feet. Has anyone seen a tiny bit of the white stuff???

Im down in the Deep South of England. It’s quite frustrating to see that little light blue blob We have had a few bits of light snow in the area but it hasn’t settled and hasn’t lasted long. Good luck to you all

No I’m in Rye I do think it’s brilliant people are getting some snow but I’m so jealous

I don’t see us getting much. The temps come right down tomorrow but guess what no wet about.

I really hope we see some snow tomorrow. I know that’s wishful thinking but wouldn’t that be nice. I don’t like the fact it’s going to be cold with rain and wind this week. It’s not fair. We deserve a little bit of snow. It’s a lot calmer here now. I wouldn’t mind some warmth now. I really want to take my lego obsessed son to LEGOLAND on Saturday but not so sure now that we seem to have another storm hanging in the wings. Anyone got a clue if it will hit Saturday??

I know there is not much chance of snow tomorrow but netweather are forecasting a small chance 27% I think for my area. What are the chances of this actually happening? I know it’s very low but has anyone seen us in with a small chance

The winds here on the SE coast have picked up massively now. Some very intense gusts too. Could be interesting when that squall line reaches us. It’s extremely rough now

The wind here in Rye has picked up massively it’s quite scary some of the gusts we have been getting.

Does anyone know roughly what time the winds are supposed to be at their worst?? It’s rough here but I think I was expecting worse. Our house has very good double glazing which is helping I think I keep seeing people walk along the the harbour bank being blown backwards. Does anyone have any wind speeds for the se coast I can’t find any.

The wind has got a lot worse even in the last half a. Hour. Just think we may possibly get 20-30 mph on top of what we have now. Scary thought. I have noticed that the gusts are pretty consistent as well. That’s not good

I have been outside a lot today, I have a horrible cold and cough and the fresh air seemed to help. I couldn’t get over how lovely a day it has been it’s hard to believe that in less than 12 hours that a storm is due to hit. There hasn’t even been a breeze today really which is unusual for where I live. It really is the calm before the storm. Just seen that the majority of the uk is now under a amber warning.
