  1. Thought that this would be a good time to share these picture of my lane when I lived on the west coast of the Isle of Man at Ballaleigh between Kirk Michael and Peel. This was taken on the 29th March 2013 three days after the blizzard had struck. Ist pic is looking down on a full size motorhome and second is on top of the lane further down. The third was a drift still holding on 68 days later on Sart Fell reach is about 1600 feet at highest , the snow in the gully pictured is about 950 ft .
  2. It has been snowing lightly here for couple hours with temperature hovering around 1.5C , picture below was around 8am this morning , not the best of pictures as wind was a tad cutting
  3. Great Pic, I'm in Rheanbreck above Lairg looking north towards Ben Klibreck, we had about 5cm in the early hours after earlier rain then some hefty snow showers including this one pictured about 530pm this evening. No thaw today here and freezing hard tonight already. Second picture from top of Choc na h Inghinn looking over Loch Shin towards Ben Hee. this afternoon.
  4. Not the best of pictures but good covering and snow again now. 0.7C
  5. Last bit of snow from Boxing day was holding on yesterday, awaiting for more as my old grandmother used to say. Cold and calm at the moment up here at Rheanbreck
  6. Covering of snow Rheanbreck this morning and again this evening. Ten minutes up the road towards Crask it was great fun walking the hound
  7. Well up here near Lairg we have had 55mm already this month including yesterdays first covering of snow. Ground is sodden now, could do with a week of frost!
  8. Well we seem to be missing out on the fine sunny weather after a wet morning its a bit dryer and brighter now and we have reached the dizzy heights of 13.6C. Will did get a nice sunset last night though, enclosed picture doesn't really do it justice as I missed the best part by about 5 mins
  9. 0.7C here and frosty early doors, Tuesdays rainfall was only 0.64 inch here but was still the wettest day for 151 days!
  10. Yes I think you are right on the two sharp topped peaks being Carn Chuinneag, there was a thunderstorm over that direction yesterday but alas we just got the rain and distant thunder.
  11. Good afternoon everyone, first time poster. A nicer enough day so far up here in the Highlands and pleasantly warm in the sun. This picture is looking south towards the Mountains of Easter Ross.
