  1. Not had rain this heavy in quite a while, shame nothing thundery though
  2. Ofc storms like to kick off once they reach the North Sea
  3. Noticed near Peterborough is getting some, falls in well with the warning earlier, just a tad too far here for anything I think
  4. I suspect it'll mostly be heavy rain than storms now
  5. Got a weather warning for thunderstorms here now till 2am
  6. I wish I stayed awake a little longer as well, a few about in Lincoln but I'm certain there would've been more, just elevated
  7. I fell asleep around 3am as well smh lol, though dont think they were quite like the South judging by the radar
  8. Fell asleep last night to find there were lightning strikes not far from Lincoln on the radar, not sure if there would've been a few more that would've been elevated which didnt show on the radar, probs wouldnt have been much though
  9. Feels like this is a night for us, just heavy rain that seems to be on its way
  10. The storm between Peterborough and Cambridge has exploded a fair bit the past few minutes but most seem to be very scattered
  11. Dont even think the storms will reach as far as Lincoln atm
  12. I was told on here something to do with how flat the land is in Lincolnshire is which is what helps home grown storms
  13. Ah didnt realise it was that frequent, though radar has picked up again, I know though real time lightning can have a bit of a delay at times Just wish this was heading Lincolnshire way
  14. Curious to see how more storms might develop when the warnings are on till 6am, seems very scattered on real time lightning maps but ofc elevated mostly
  15. Guessing tonight its mostly all elevated rather than cloud to ground lightning
  16. Dont think were going to get a direct hit sadly, the storms seem to be moving too far North East unless more cells fire up
  17. If someones reporting lightning from a storm 100 miles away the cloud tops must be pretty high?
  18. This could be the start of those storms that were mentioned around 3am Might have to take a look from the window, impressive given thats 100 miles away
  19. Typical though we've had all Summer without hardly any imports from the channel but they happen right at the end of Summer
  20. Feels good to have a day off tomorrow so I can just radar watch, West of London should be in for a treat soon
  21. Haven't had a night storm this year yet though nothing wrong with being greedy lol
  22. GFS does suggest rain around 3/4am, just depends if its thundery
  23. If only it would reach Lincolnshire despite being in a warning area, but feel like were too North for early hours, but cells are firing up
  24. Gfs still suggesting something for around 3am. Guess it'll be radar watching all night
