All those now with the breeze, please blow it towards EA, its like a furnace out here, still 34c now and feels horrendous inside and outside is just instant death!!! Yesterday evening clouds arrived and at least everywhere had shade, no such luck yet tonight, gonna be worse, much worse than last night.

Been sat at 37c for a couple of hours now (norwich weather station), feels much hotter than yesterday when we reached the same temp. Hope they get the fires out quickly. Really really want this to go with a bang now, was watching the storms down cornwall way this morning, they now have a pleasant 22-23c temp, lucky boogers.

Annnd we've hit 30c just after 9am. Tomorrow is also going to be a hot one on the east coast, unless this cooler air pushes through quicker than the forecast, 29c on my weather app for 1pm, then cooling as 'rain shower expected'.

38.1 in Suffolk
And absolutely horrible! No sea breezes to help, in trying to find a positive, least humidity is relatively low, still no comfort in knowing tomorrow will be hotter still. Gonna take a while for the cool down from the west to reach the east coast

Think we topped out at 29c here (Norwich weather centre figure) just started to drop at 28c now. Slight milkyness to the sky and the breeze is now dropping back. Praying (and I am the least religious person ever) that we don’t hit the expected highs over the next few days. Thankfully now off work til Wednesday, because the care home was horrendous today, those working through are really not looking forward to it and were jealous of my days off

Thankfully not at work mon/Tuesday, because I will never make it if we hit those predictions of temp. Sunday will be hard enough, it’s going to be hard to keep residents hydrated enough, already suffering in a non air condition building. I really hope these temps are over egged by the models.

Amber heat alert now been extended through all of Monday
Barely a breath of wind today, feels more humid than it’s been too.

Looked at the radar, surprised to see rain over the midlands stretching over to the NE, albeit light and patchy, assuming this wont make it over to EA? Explains the cloud coverage though. Would be nice to see some rain, everything here is so so dry, front lawn long wide cracks appearing in it, never had that before, at some point we really need a long wet spell, river levels must be low around the country. Temp 26c here.

Back in here, as its now past the point I can stand, yesterday wasnt as bad as it could have been, we had some light cloud coverage come over in the afternoon, so temps 'only' peaked at 27c. Unfortunately the temps didnt go down overnight much, was 20c when I got out with dogs at 6.30, so far been a cloud covering this morning, pegging temps back, but the sun is breaking through and there is a very warm breeze, supposedly up to 29/30c today, but weekend looks to be horrendous, I seriously hope that we dont reach high 30s, god forbid 40s.
Currently 25c

Met office issued an amber warning do heat for all day Sunday, have we ever had a warning like that?
Hate heat, extreme heat is going to be a nightmare, 8 hr shift in care home, with no air con and no air, is going to be horrific.- 3

Members of the Triangle, we are bracing ourselves; nothing on Thursday, nothing on Friday. Ah cannae wait; I'm already wetting myself with excitement!
Now come on, we got some Saturday night, once every decade is surely good enough?!
(re-reading that, sounds a tad rude, but I blame the heat and I’m not changing it )

Oh there was definitely T&L Pete, rumbled around for a while, started just after 11pm and intense rain too, of course had I not had my 'the apocalypse is here' fluffy warning system, I may have slept through it.

16c here now with a N/NNE breeze, clouds around, maybe some rain on the way, if it doesnt evaporate before it gets here.
-
Ah the joy of some fresher air, feels so much better than it did just a few hours ago. Now a nice little storm would be good, not huge, I’m not delusional to think that would happen here in the triangle, but just a few lights and booms

31c, spent 2mins outside in shade to get dog to pee, awful hot with what feels like a 100c hot breeze. Not even a storm to look forward to. Tonight is another no sleep night to dread. When’s the snow coming? ️️

29c apparently, not sure the 100c breeze is helping much.

10.30 and it’s 26c already, can’t wait for Sunday and a nice temp drop.

Why is everywhere but here, cooling down, how much longer, I’m melting……28c here, brief shower this morning, lovely…not, raised humidity nothing more. Did the cold front die before it could reach the EA heat bowl ?
