    Lightning activity has gone now, seems like just a quick pulse storm but better than nothing.

    Looks like big standard rain headed into most of Essex at the minute, hopefully it can turn thundery and intensify.

    Over 30c in my bedroom even after attempting to keep it cool, sleeping will be uncomfortable to say the least.

    The problem isn't us, that's what annoys me as we can only do so much while countries like China and Indian dump pollution into the environment at an alarming rate.

    Looks like inevitably there will be cloud over east Anglia tonight hindering record temperatures maybe.

    The storm seems to be weakening, to me this is because of the large amount of rain in front of it.

    No just the rain in front expanding to the west, the movement is north north east.

    Seems to be losing intensity.

    Well considering the storm is over 50 miles west of the exit point on that model it will head straight over east London.

    The storm wont stay on that trajectory due to steering flows as it gets closer to the UK. We see this all the time with storms in France they head north then start heading north east as the get into the channel.

    Would expect development In the 8-9 range. Also the placement of development is the most important thing like last week.
