    Looks like I'm in a good spot, storms went just to the east last time and knowing my luck they will go just west.

    Lightning in the Thames estuary right now on blitzorg, most likely false?

    One thing which makes this system different perhaps is the amount of false strikes being produced constantly, and the extent the cloud to cloud reaches from the main storm.

    This has to be one on the largest storm systems I have seen affect the UK, look at the size of it

    Same again on a smaller scale, they dont register suggesting it's just huge cloud to cloud covering a wide area I reckon.

    Some huge flash just then to the west, blitzorg just covered the whole area in flashes suddenly never seen that before. Some weird phenomenon?

    Seems like some west building on the storms, an mcs forming?

    That cell over London is my only hope, need it to intensify.

    Yes to the south, really stormy skies just passed overhead now heavy convective rain. Cant see the colchester storm from here.

    Looks like I'm right in the bullseye for the best storms tonight, normally when that's forecast they goes east and west if me so lets see.

    Looks like sunshine arriving for the far south east, the rain has now passed so let's see what convection can get going.
