    Top of Wrotham Hill just now on my way to work had a slushy covering. Was interesting to see the difference from sleety rain at sea level by my place going up through meopham

    Can confirm sea level NW kent here at Northfleet Gravesend the snow from this morning only lasted on the ground a couple of hours before melting with the sleet and rain. A shame the heavy lot of snow in the last hour hasn't settled. I bet Wrotham Hill near my work 800ft high odd is smothered.

    I notice the met update changed from "isolated" to " a few" snow showers. Slight upgrade for our region and that's before next week's possible interest
