It’s a balmy 8.0 on the iow leaving our chances of any snow ZERO - gutted!!!

Depressing here on the iow heavy rain n wind bet all those people getting snow don’t even appreciate it! Lol Just 1 day of laying snow would make me happy - just think it’s impossible down here everything has to be just right and it never is!

Temp on iow gone from 2.2 to 1.5 over the last hour n we forecast for rain from midnight so why won’t that fall as snow????

Could someone please explain to me are the charts showing potential cold and snow for all the country or just north? Coming from the Isle of Wight I’m really not sure whether to be excited or not? Obviously be great just to have a prolonged cold spell but wondered what our southerners chances of snow are? Sorry if wrong thread just trying to understand the charts? -
Looking forward to a decent cold spell coming up some snow would be perfect ?

Had to re register for some reason but looking good for nice cold spell now still praying for snow but know it’s v unlikely here on the iow
