What a weird evening. The showers that crossed the pennines, instead of dying a death are intensifying as they move west

The last 2 showers have dumped about 3cm here..my side of the street had thawed out now completely covered again

There was just a dusting in Eccles and Sale today. I'm north West of Manchester and not seen as much like Oldham, Rochdale etc. The showers seem to die a death around the Bolton area

Snap. In all my years I've never seen winter hill with no snow or very little. Yet all winter the hills to the east have had a covering whenever we've had snowfall.. very confusing

These showers type setups really don't float my boat. Give me an alantic front coming in and hitting cold air. 8-10 hours of heavy snowfall

Had a mega snow storm about 4pm..not seen snow fall like that since 2010. Absolute bitter here in Horwich
