We have had hailstones this afternoon, it is so cold out, bring on summer!!

It's been awful here today too, visited a local garden centre and I would say that 60% of it is now gifts, so sad to see. Think it's too cold to even plant out the plants we bought!!

We had hail earlier on around 4.30, it hurt if it hit you, yet it just went squashy on your clothing!

We have had a few flurries of snow this morning, very small flakes. Drove up through Birdlip yesterday and they still have snow lying in places on fields and in gulleys.

Snowing here in Gloucester, some nice big flakes too!

Personally I find it interesting and useful info, so please carry on posting. We have to accept that in a big regional group like this some info will be of interest to some and not others.

Presume netweather had a melt down. Can anyone up date me as to what to expect in Gloucester overnight and for the next day or so?

Snowing here, reasonable sized flakes, although not heavy

Travelling to London, left at 7 am, snow up on Birdlip to Cirencester, then no more to be seen travelling down M4 which was at a standstill, not due to snow! Reached Bracknell now and its starting to snow.

HI guys, travelling from Gloucester to Beckenham/Croydon in about 30 mins, how bad is it down South - none here in Glos!

Went for a drive up Birdlip today, and there is still a heap of snow by the roadside and in the ditches from 22nd/23rd Jan. I had been told there was some there, but hadn't believed it!!

Great day for us here, around 4 inches has fallen throughout the day, enjoyed watching it fall, sadly too unwell to go out in it!!

Snow stopping here now, just the odd few flakes falling. It looks so beautiful. Not sure if that's it or if there will be more?!

Currently have 3" snow here and still falling, just been out in the garden!
