    just been out for a long walk, Hempsted way and down by river, its so cold out. Some of the brooks I passed are frozen over.

    As an avid snow watcher, I have now become an avid watcher for dry weather instead!! Is there any hope we will get a dry bright spell soon?!

    There was torrential rain around 2.30/3 pm (not sure of time) we were out in the car driving from Moreton in Marsh to Cheltenham. We also had loads of rain before that early morning.

    Tipping it down here with rain, so much for gritting the roads!

    Working on the assumption that when we had snow the roads weren't gritted at all near us, I have a feeling we won't see any snow/ice etc- the gritters have been out and even gritted the bus route down Lobleys Drive!!

    Local weather station has recorded 25mm rain, 2.9mm per min at 21.51!!!

    So should I be unplugging the computer and tv tonight???

    - 5C here overnight, now currently 9.7C, beautiful clear blue sky. Hope we have this much blue sky in the summer!!

    Was that 1964, my parents moved that day (in London) and the neighbour opposite spent all day clearing the snow off of her path!!

    Beautiful morning here, just been to see the Severn Bore for the first time! Road extremely icy nr the river.

    After a lovely morning where it was warm in the sun, we now have sleet, fast and furious!!

    I think everyone is catching up on tv/rest etc from all the late night lamp post watching!! Unless they have all gone to Scotland!

    Spring like morning so far, temp 11C (taken from a local site)!!!!

    Can't seem to make its mind up here, rain one minute, snow the next, then rain, then snow etc..... Currently a bit of a mixture!

    Another beautiful sunny day, we still have snow lying from Thursday!

    We have beautiful blue sky here too, still have a covering of snow on the ground and cars, it looks so lovely out!

    Fine but heavy snow here now, lying on top of what we had earlier. I looked out at the lampost and thought it was rain, but the pavements are getting whiter!!
