Under a little train of showers here, a chertsey streamer if you will, road and cars covered in the polystyrene snow balls! Still nice to watch in the lamppost.

Going to be interesting to see how this one plays out today... The NMM keeps that streamer going all day
Seems it will be a repeat of yesterday....? Pretty light by the time it gets to our neck of the woods. Need it to pep up further east?

Snowed all day in chertsey....still is. Light mainly with the odd moderate push. Laying on the roads now and will look pretty come the morning.
That'll do I suppose!

What just happened to all my snow symbols in chertsey! I look dry tomorrow all day now after a bit of snow early hours! Robbing gits!
Edit...addlestone 2mins away still has plenty. So accurate these apps they can pinpoint the snow so accurately!

The beauty of this upcoming week for me is not knowing what might pop up where and when.
Kinks, streamers, merging bands of snow, emerging troughs, big battlegrounds a possibility, ice days and a wind chill to cut your b*****ks off!
It's like a merry go of all our favorite buzz words coming at you from all directions!
Prizes for many...jackpots to be had too!
About time too!
Enjoy peeps! ❄❄❄❄❄

Not sure where you got those depths from. Warning says 5-10cm widely and up to 15cm, with the southeast most at risk.
That's 4mm rain which equates to coupios amounts of snow. Not quite sure what the actual ratio is.

Out roll the warnings!!!

Lovely looking charts although I do have a bit of concern that what was possible Snow for Sat then moved to Sunday and is now Mon afternoon and into Tuesday so is still at D5 when I was hoping to feel a bit more concrete by tomorrow but now won't feel confident until about Sat/Sun for Mon/Tues!!
My brother (another snow fan) @Chertseystreamer79 sent me some great pics yesterday as it was 12yrs since the foot dumping of snow we had in Feb 2009!!! It was mad!! And we also had snow a year ago yesterday too because we met up Box Hill where knew it would be a bit deeper!xx
This would be dreamy....

I may not know anything about the models, but I read all the posts most days and all that seems to happen is over excitement at cold events, that rarely if ever, seem to materialise!!
then everyone just seems to forget that the BOOM cold event that didn't occur existed and moves on to the next potential BOOM event that also then never materialises!!
Why has the BBC & Met office not mentioned this Beast from the East that never arrives???
Maybe its just a reflection on my own personal disappointment that I fall into the trap of getting excited over all your predictions, that as yet never become reality?!!
You just explained why we are all here....! Your awakening to winter model addiction!

Although the 6z isn't great, at least it hasn't continued the trend seen on the previous two runs.
The last 4 pages in a nutshell. Thankyou. That's all we needed to see for now.

ECM much better than GFS with a well defined and deep easterly but it’s almost bone dry. It’s like going to to McDonald’s but coming out with a salad and bottle water. That said I’m sure if the easterly does become established it’ll develop small polar lows etc that the models just aren’t picking up.
ALMOST DRY
DEVELOP POLAR LOWS
OK GOT IT...THANKS!

We needed the ECM to follow the GFS on the 12z and it simply hasn’t I have a feeling this will go wrong now as we need all models to come into agreement it’s when they don’t it sends alarm bells ringing for me !
Meto update. The end.
