CryoraptorA303 fair enough, there is no official station at gatwick but there is a station in north crawley called london/gatwick airport as seen on netweathers live weather stations which is a few miles away from Gatwick itself.
Maybe they should just call it Charlwood, and not Charlwood Surrey? Since its quite a few miles away from Crawley?
-
CryoraptorA303 Crawley and Charlwood are 2 separate places, isnt the Gatwick station within Crawley though?

Beautiful day for once, sunny pretty much all day for a change and mild at 14c with no wind at all.
-
A bleak day, just about scraped 11c but very gloomy with on and off drizzle.
-
I don't know about other locations but this seems to me the dullest march I can remember, which is making it feel much colder too, it could easily be December or January if it weren't for the sunset times.

A couple of localised patches very slightly above. It may be as simple as a couple of summer thunderstorms in those areas upping the totals.
My area is under the slightly wetter than average anomaly on that map of 2022, we had loads of thunderstorms during that summer/ autumn.

markyo Haven't got above 12c this year yet, heating still needed here, south coast is slowest place to warm up in spring.

Do we ever get warm and sunny NW-ly's like we sometimes do for Easterlies????
We do here on the south coast in the summer, long land track.
-
stainesbloke I can only dream of 17c right now, we really struggle with temps on the south coast first half of spring.

Been dry all morning and quite sunny actually, but only just managing 13c here, still feels mild though.

I will go with 35.5c Heathrow on 20th July.

The 100% humidity will end when temperatures drop? Surely it should be the other way round? Looks like a case of bad building designs as we hit 100% humidity all the time in winter and that never happens here.

Looks like the third sunny day on the bounce here once early cloud cleared, been very lucky indeed!

Turned into a pleasant sunny day here once early cloud cleared, and mild at 12c

Not a great year for my area, didn't really pick up until September, but I think May and June did have some south east "clippers" bringing a nice light show there
I remember at least 1 direct hit here in every month from May through to October, most of which came from France. I don't suppose you could find a uk wide chart for thunderstorm activity in 2022 could you? I'm not very clued up in that department lol
-
Very misty here, typical of spring.
-
Summer 2022, loads thunderstorms from May throught to October!
-
Sentinel sounds pretty normal to me, nothing has changed?
-
Rain all day and 7c certainly doesn't feel spring like here today.

Snow. Barely see it anyway so it wouldn't make much difference banishing it for good.
-
Cold, frosty, sunny start at 0c

Much better today, it may be chilly, but I'd much rather have sunshine and showers over prolonged rain and cloud all day, great cloudscapes too!
-
LightningLover its going to feel odd gales coming from the opposite direction, might cause slightly more issues than if it was a south-westerly gale with the same strength.
