    Looking like the radar is going to give the Surrey Hills a slight dusting....but then look at the predicted track and it seems to bounce back to the north west. just at the wrong point...d’oh Although beginning to snow here lightly now....

    If you put the animation on the radar and compare to the previos tracks, then big ones currently just off Clacton might just track over Surrey.....

    That last batch dropped south and west towards Horley and Gatwick.... The winds look to have changed a bit on the radar so the next batch might be better and the ones further out.....???

    Up in the Surrey Hills the change in wind direction for the stream coming over Sevenoaks is beginning to look fruity!

    Some heavy snow now in the Surrey Hills! Not expecting much thugh at the moment, can still see the North Downs too clearly....but getting more hopeful

    Can feel the temp dropping off here iin the Surrey Hills, not that it was balmy to start with! Cloud base is dropping, clouds getting blacker and more joined up. The radar is certainly looking good for us now!

    The wind would appear to have changed already if you look at the radar. That intense area over Tonbridge is no longer tracking towards Brighton. Definately tracking on a more westerley course now.....anyway that’s what I’m hoping. I could yet be saved in the eyes of my work colleagues!!

    Big area over Tumbridge Wells has definitely changed shape and direction in the last 15 mins. Reckon Reigate, Dorking and Surrey Hills are now in the firing line...

    Hoping those showers will start heading our way soon! The ones between West Malling and Orpington look promising on the current wind .... Fingers crossed...

    This where I’m hoping that these showers are heading, which will dump on Dorking and the Surrey Hills...Given the subtle changes in wind direction and the warning on the MetO...we might be lucky come 9pm-5am
