Well, went and snowboarded the golf course... wasn’t quite the alps , but had some great craic with my brother. Much much needed downtime after a bloody awful 12 months!

I'm noticing those that generate 'in-land' fall as graupel, like this one, but the ones that come via the sea, are falling as snow? Track this one back, and it forms on the coast.

So, I’ve just been up the golf course (If only!)

I would imagine they will be difficult. Wife came home from work last night, and they'd had a couple on inches. I'll be taking here up around 08:30, so will let you know

Snowed here now for probably an hour, maybe a little more. Looking at the radar, snowboarding down the golf course looks like it could be a possibility later today

At least the park won't be green now I'm going to drive the wife up to work (Greencroft, Stanley) and see how much they've got up there now. She said there was a couple of inches when she left work last night.
