Had some heavy snow for a couple of mins, but light graupel at the moment. There's a 'blob' following in behind, so will what that brings. Currently time-lapsing it Oh, and watching some kids on a boogie board out the back 'sledging'

Sat24 has been showing showers out to sea for the past few days - once they start getting close to shore, they start to dissipate unfortunately - unless it's the Scottish coast .

What a complete letdown this has been! Went to bed at 2am, and there’s zero more snow on the ground this morning! Just been out to defrost the car for the wife, and it wasn’t even frozen (small patch on the windscreen). Bit jealous of the wife, as she’s driving up to work at Greencroft. Beastie, my arsie

Had a walk down the river earlier with my Brother, and we’ve both agreed, that if there’s enough snow, we’re going to snowboard from the top of the golf course, down to the bottom... it’s like one big lazy blue run chester-le-street by the way. If we do, we’ll have GoPro footage So come on, drop your load Mr Beastie from the Eastie!!

You've got to laugh! BBC App (yes, I know it's a shocker) has me down for heavy snow from 7pm this evening, right through to 5pm tomorrow . What a $hit show! Even the dogs can't be arsed with being outside, and when it's cold, outside is their preference and they'll both happily sleep curled up in -10 (you know, proper winter cold)!!

That system out to sea doesn't seem to making much progress, and seems to have been stuck since around 12:30 - looks like it's feeding fragments coming off it?

Just back with the dogs, and I’ll be honest, it’s nippy, but just general winter nippy - there’s nothing ‘beast’ about it. Ground isn’t frozen yet, and still got graupel falling from the sky.
