Been notified from my app of a lightning strike apparently in Fakenham, can anyone clarify this?

I'm wondering for any possible electrical activity whether it will be fairly large or patchy like in Scotland and yesterday
I think quite largely as the wind is suppose to pick up later

Gone up to 23 Celsius here already, never had a good feeling for electrical activity later like this before

Too be honest any activity was really forecast to the east of us and to the north so technically not really a bust. May help if the sun came out a bit but at the moment the cloud is keeping it away.
Fingers crossed, the clouds look like they're heading out to sea by minute

Looks like a bust for us today although storms have formed in the north. Just need the sun to come out and get the temps up.
You think a bust already? It's only 1pm, the sun is starting to come out which will get things going. I think later there is a lot of potential

I've created a sort of warning page describing the places likely to see impacts from thunderstorms would you like to see it?

Hope so, feels muggy and hot since the sun came out
Muggy here with sunny spells and really dark anvils coming from the east coast direction

One thing that has struck me today is how sluggish those showers are moving... in fact they don't seem to be moving at all. As a whole I think the flooding potential looks worse then yesterday.
The wind speed isn't helping them move at all!

I've never seen as many and as large anvils heading north towards me in south Cambridgeshire, is anyone located in this area witnessing this??

Any thoughts on any activity south of Lincolnshire I'm very close to Cambridgeshire boarder
Towers building up south west of Cambridgeshire and heading north east towards Lincolnshire, I think we could be in for some activity in the afternoon/evening. If we miss out today, definitely tomorrow we will see thunderstorms confined to the east.

Yeah Lincs definitely produces massive home growns so having a risk in the east is why I am so certain it would happen as they grow great here.
