I think next week is a perfect setup in a long time which will potentially get temperatures close or above the record temperature, this is down to many factors as mentioned above such as the dry ground.
-
Monday is looking more thundery as large amounts of precipitation is showing up in eastern areas with more cape present and higher temperatures
-
Don;t think anything is going to happen tonight, night
-
Is it a bust now as no activity for hours or is later looking likely could some one tell me?
-
Northampton cell travelling north east on the radar perhaps merging with another developing cell, keep in mind surface heating will regenerate it as it goes along, as you can see im saying anything to keep my hopes up

God knows why these beastly clouds are not releasing any precipitation, you can even smell them in the sky

Hopefully Cambridgeshire are finally going to get the action it deserves! Home grown storms are well known here so hopes up for a big bang

Hoping the BBC weather is right that storms will develop in the South Lincs around 11 or 12 ish lol, though we know what BBC are like sometimes
I think this is very possible can you see that massive cumulonimbus to the east

Don't need to get excited, doubt this work be anything more than a few rumbles of thunder in the south west.

Since 12th May, 2 months and longer

Extremely heavy rain here now, no electric potential sadly. But I am happy to get some rain.

I can see the Leicester storm from Cambridgeshire, I don't know if its extending south or its just the size of it making it clear from a long distance..
