  1. It is actually developing over the channel not fading out will be interesting to see if it hits land if it goes at same rate probably 11-11.15am to hit the south coast?
  2. They have actuall moved quite quickly north in the last hour the wind is supposed to be keen today isn't it even though its hot air
  3. A few of those showers now heading over the Channel
  4. So what does that mean regarding those showers are they likely to migrate north or stay where they are and fade away'?
  5. First time I have seen this map the weather stations in some areas are very sparse take my area just Doncaster Airport and nothing else in South Yorkshire or North Midlands
  6. It's in line with the BBC projection of 2c increase per hour until 3pm the BBC showing 30c at 10am
  7. I assume that is an extra you have to pay a fee for?
  8. What I was thinking was if that area of rain showers whatever it is lowered the temp in France would that lower the temp in the air blowing on the keen southerly wind. I never know with these radars sometimes they show rain and it isn't actually raining
  9. Well they said Norwich was top temp yesterday at 33c so take Netweather temp gauge with a pinch of salt.
  10. Is the front of rain/showers over france surpressing the temperatures there does anyone know?
  11. I hate the heat I am lucky I will have 6 hours under the aircon from 12noon at work but it's one day and most places back to normal from tomorrow we are lucky it hasn't been sticky wet air but mainly dry air which is unusual for this country and has made it bearable it could have been horrible Carribbean air with all that moisture.
  12. Met Office weather chart on their website only shows a max of 36c at 4pm https://www.metoffice.gov.uk/public/weather/forecast/map#?map=ScreenTemperature&fcTime=1564023600&zoom=6&lon=-4.00&lat=53.47
  13. The BBC have the following for London 9am 28c 10am 30c 11am 32c 12noon 34c 1pm 36c 2pm 37c 3pm 38c 4pm 38c So I assume we can follow the live temps on this gauge if 38.5c is to be surpassed.
  14. Indeed remember about 15 years ago someone saying on the tv that children will never see snow again and boom a few years later we knee deep in it at the end of November. People and the media assume that because it has happened this year it will every year and of course that never happens.
  15. Well that's Sheffield normally anyway, satan's breath usually stinks down The Moor
  16. Is this site accurate for the current temperature? https://www.weatheronline.co.uk/weather/maps/current?CONT=ukuk&UD=0&INT=06&TYP=temperatur&RUBRIK=akt&DATE=--
  17. Well clearly most people are I don't but this site is full of over excited people who may or may not be proved right tomorrow.
  18. All of the UK was forecast to fall below 20c tonight
  19. There is no way it will be 39c in Scunthorpe they be lucky to get past 33c
  20. I'm sure Look Leeds will make sure we all know about it if Leeds reaches 35c though less so if it's anywhere else in Yorkshire
  21. There is a thunderstorm warning in place for England tomorrow from 3pm I haven't seen any mentions of thunderstorms on any model or weather bulletin https://www.metoffice.gov.uk/weather/warnings-and-advice/uk-warnings#?date=2019-07-25&id=86ecaeac-7d9f-4396-8f37-c72f7bbdc2e3
