  1. I love how optimistic you are! It honestly fuels me. Im in South East London so I’m hoping the intensity does drift into London to give significant accumulations.
  2. I don’t think it would be a red warning if he is crying laughing...
  3. The level and severity of cold that could be drawn in from Scandinavia once the artic high establishes itself could be quite something. Sub -20C 850s are uppers many of us would have never seen before in our lifetimes. There is a real prospect of extreme cold...
  4. Yep, distant rumbles drizzly rain and humidity. It seems like all the thunderstorms that has formed this week has received a word of caution to deliberately avoid my area of London lol. I mean, at least it’s cooler now?
  5. Seriously? This thunderstorm seems like it’s gonna slip south of me here in Lewisham. It’s very dark here with distant thunder. Croydon, Bromley, Sutton, Epsom and the likes getting the action. *sigh*
  6. It’s steaming here in South London. Awful. Any Londoners reading this, hang on in there, just 2 more tropical nights to go.
  7. 35C at Heathrow. shows that comparison is really a thief of quick surface heat building.
  8. Anybody measured the temp in the heart of London today? I suspect it was 37C.
  9. Do you think we can still hit 38C around London?
  10. Did/Do you have cloud? It’s clouding over slightly here in Catford.
  11. It’s like a furnace right? Baking down here in South London
  12. Fully understand what you mean. It’s the building heat hour by hour you can feel.
  13. I’m guessing that 36C patch is London. It looks quite west though.
