  1. I am loving seeing this eye candy off models. Highly unlikely that anything'll come off but seeing those high CAPE values is wonderful.
  2. You can see the convergence on UKV just above the S Coast. Interesting to see what might kick off later on.
  3. Overnight imported storms don't have the impressive SB-based features for many places so that's why it's most likely been labelled the best storm in years by some. Some places also had rain rates over 100mm/hr & blankets of hail which can also add onto the previous things to create a v good storm for people who only really get imported ones. I'd have certainly been very chuffed if I got all this & I'd probably say it's the best storm in years.
  4. Timelapse from earlier when the main band hit. 1_rendered (1).mp4
  5. If the storms don't weaken, then I'm getting a direct hit here but I'm doubtful.
  6. Didn't bother to check this forum whilst it was going on. It was clear to my E too. My luck really.
  7. How the hell are you always seeing everything? Do you have to ability to fly or something?
  8. Been searching around for pictures & videos of this supercell that brought down trees near Canterbury I believe & had golf-ball sized hail? All photo links I've found for it in past forums are dead & I'm interested if anyone still has any pics of it. Thanks. Please move if I've plopped this in the wrong area!
  9. Pictures of that Sheerness cell from the classic IOSSC cameras.
  10. I wish we could accurately predict thunderstorms 9 days away. In reality, bugger all is going to happen & it's going to be dry. I'd bet on that.
  11. Beautiful structure on that decaying storm moving SSE from Cambridge.
