  1. Well wouldn't it just be the case, otherwise this would be far too simple and very dull! All together now... More runs needed.
  2. Well they've both found the roundabout in the North Atlantic with the diversion via Iceland this time ... (or perhaps more likely computers aren't great at resolving the future yet ?) <Insert wisdom regarding MJO and qbo etc >
  3. How realistic is this right angle / 90° right turn over Iceland that still holding?
  4. Obviously slightly different initialisation time but gfs vs ukmo 144
  5. All just good speculation at this point, no doubt the suites will make this look rogue and put me back in my place, but
  6. I just love doing this for the distraction to be honest, not as if I'll go outside if it's cold
  7. Trending away from 24-48 hours ago with a collapse near day 10ish pushed back
  8. High in the Atlantic looks more persistent than previous run, which can't be bad. Heading slowly towards the gfs?
  9. Hopefully it's just beginning to head towards the gfs with a hint of more amplification towards Greenland rather than the dreaded collapse, which agreed could happen on this run.
  10. Seems the gfs might have the solution after all, probably unreliable by this point? ? (edit, meaning point at which they diverge is definitely FI, rather than GFS is definitely correct beyond this point).
  11. Yes gfs seems more robust in the long term but encouraging signs all round hinting at further longevity compared to only a couple of day ago
