    Currently microsnowing here. Been doing it on and off for an hour or so.

    Snowing steady here. Mosr snow i've seen in years. Most schools in Walsall Borough are closed or are closing. Haven't seen a bus all day. Dangerous conditions outside, gritters cant keep up.

    Good Morning. Nice couple of CMs here. Been going all night. Just looked at the radar and the 2nd band is beginning to hit the first by the looks of things. And is it me or is it intensifying the back end of the first?

    Still snowing here in Brownhills. A nice little surprise before the main event, which i would like to remind those who are moaning, hasnt happened yet. These flurries were not forecast.

    I prefer the split and have voted as such. As for the weather i am not getting excited until the snow falls. Not getting caught out like monday again lol. Also what are the expectations for Monday?

    Ive come to the point where the models can say what they want, until its falling out the sky i wont be getting overly excited. And the way the models have been and are totally out of whack...you cant take anything as gospel. We got too excited again and thats our own fault. We never learn! lol

    What an awful soggy day it has been for us West Midlanders. I was hopeful when it started snowing again this morning that the BBC had over estimated the rain, but i think they were right on the money.

    Aaahh! This is much better. This is forum is for the West Midlands region. Warwickshire is in the West Midlands region. Herefordshire, Worcestershire, Staffordshire, Derbyshire, Shropshire, West Midlands County - i think thats all of them lol '

    Moderate snow in Brownhills started off as rain n got increasingly snowish! I love being wrong lol.

    I will be very surprised if we get anymore snow today. In fact the snow I have may have started to melt as the temps have gone up a degree or two. We may have had a better chance if the sky had cleared between bands. I hope I'm wrong! Really really do.

    Just popped over from the Midlands thread to say good luck guys, i hope you get plenty of snow. My 2cm of snow will be gone in the next few hours thanks to the rain forcast. Already started to my West. Would rather have had none than this situation.

    Just been outside for a crunch about with my cats before it melts! Sad i know but i may not see snow again!

    BBC forcast rain for us with this second band, which will wash all the snow we have got away. I'm hoping they're overestimating the rain but knowing our look they aren't. Everything looked wonderful a few days ago.
