    Nice little storm just passed over Brownhills heading towards Lichfield way! Few rumbles and the odd bit of lighting. Any more coming??

    Very heavy rain here this afternoon at around half 5. Very gusty! Lovely to watch!

    Yes i remember it from last year. watched it approach and come over Brownhills. Was awesome. In fact i'm sure it was the last storm i've seen lol

    Could do with a good storm! Have missed out 5 or 6 times now and it's driving me mad! Was on the edge of the Penkridge storm a few weeks ago but that's all i've had this year.

    I've just been woke up by lightning, no discernible thunder though. Where did it come from...this is the West Midlands?

    After a beautiful morning here, the cloud has started to roll in...breeze has picked up which feels lovely but still really warm! Hope the South East enjoys their storms later...maybe it is good thing i am at work after 5pm lol.

    Very stormy looking skies here most of the day, very heavy showers on and off all day. No thunder to report though (waaah!!)

    That storm was absolutely awesome, and some fantastic footage there AJ! I could see the many lightning flashes from where i live, watched the storm from my SW go to the NW! Wasn't right over me but the clouds n the shelf were awesome! Was worth hanging out the window watching it!

    Been having torrential rain showers all day...apparently there was a little bit of thunder at the start of the afternoon but i didn't hear it. Some of the cloud looked like it was spinning a little earlier when i looked out of the window at work aswell. That can't be normal. Very stormy looking cloud today!

    Off to bed my fellow storm nuts!So close but yet so far! No sparks this evening and distant sparks yesterday evening! BBC and Met Office seem to be right on this one! Heavy maybe thundery showers overnight, nothing here but heavy rain!!! Grr!

    Absolutely peeing it down! No thunderstorms at all today! So much for the forecast! Been raining since around 8pm! No thunderstorms likely either! lame!
