Very warm here all day, just finished work, very humid feeling, gonna be a really uncomfortable night me thinks. Lots of cloud about over the town.

I shall not be getting my hopes up this time! Purely because it's too marginal, it may just be rain! N rain is definately not exciting!

You know its really bad when you know you probs wont get the snow but i still have that hope im gonna get it and am still sitting here, reading this forum and watching the radar and weather forcasts, yet im not going to get it. It's like a viscious circle, i hate the cold lol

Snowing very lightly here in Brownhills, that was 10 minuted ago, probs baking hot outside now for all i know lol. Dont think there will be as much as the Met Office has made out really, suppose they're justcovering their own backs tho.

Light snow falling here in Brownhills. Great birthday present! 21 today 21 today!

Light snow been fallin' here (Brownhills, Walsall) for an hour or so.

It's been a very good day here in Brownhills (5 miles north of Walsall Town), plenty of snow, it's still snowing now, but it's that light, grainy kind of snow. All the local Primary and Secondary School were shut, including Shire Oak (which never shut when i was a student). Travel West Midlands and Arriva buses on a limited service most of the morning, picked up a bit later. Funny int it, Australia is suffering it's worst heatwave on record, and the UK grinds to a halt due to snow? xx

Walsall could do well from this then, west of Birmingham and all that lol. I know nothing as u can tell. xx

Been snowing for about 2 hours, possibly longer, here in Brownhills, Walsall, West Midlands. It's sticking, which is something i thought it would not do, but the temperature dropped suddently and so the rain froze. Hence the sticking lol. Temps around 0c-1c.

I dunno about the worst wind, rain storm, they all seem the same to me. The worst thunderstorm i've ever experienced (loved every second of it though) was sometime in the Summer just gone (2007). I wish i could remember the exact date. It was totally unexpected though but extremely spectacular. Lightning strike after lightning strike. I saw one hit one tree about 1000 yrds away and then hit another one close by near the Wyley and Essington Canal at Silver Street Bridge. They were so close it was unbelieveable. My Dad was coming home from work and he went from the car to the house and was soaked to the skin it was raining that heavily. The lightning was purple and so was the sky. maginificent. Snow grains here in Brownhills, Walsall

Woke up to snow on the ground with around 1-2cm. It started at about 1am (i think) as rain! The sun is currently out wrecking everything!

Was snowing earlier in Walsall but turned to rain about 10 minutes ago! Now it has stopped altogether! Temp drop temp drop!

Still snowing here in Walsall and has been all day (well since 8am!)! Temps around 2-3C
