    been heavy here for the last hour and now starting to settle, although the radar is showing sleet

    They seem to be going off earlier and earlier! Ours went of at 11.30, used to be midnight!

    The snow that we might get tomorrow morning, is this going to be from the showers that over Wales at the moment? Heavy rain here at the moment, but looking at the radar this should clear in the next couple of hours

    Now that is a good post! Some of the posts on here are unbelievable, but this post gives a balanced view of what is happening over the next few days.

    I would imagine this was borderline? And could quite easily of been rain? Sorry just trying to get my head around why people are so worried about will it or will it not snow next week? When at the end of the day, it's going to be cold, and from what I can work out its not a couple of days cold shot! So the longer the cold lasts, the chances of snow increase?

    With all this talk about if its going to be cold enough, maybe somebody can explain something to a thicko here? How did we get all the snow in certain parts of the country a couple of weeks back? I know I went pretty quick, but was still snow!

    Off to Holland on Saturday for a weeks holiday, staying just south of Amsterdam, anyone with a bit of knowledge know what the forcast is looking like? Any help much appreciated
