Just stopped here no rain, no thunder just very calm and warming up again

i was thinking of taking the table up the garden and pouring a boiling kettle down the holes

I have just noticed wasps nesting in the patio table, only seen about five of them but they are backwards and forwards with leaves, they seem to be plugging the holes under the table, any idea how i can get rid of them???

A question for all you twitchers..... what does a red, rubber ring on a pigeon leg signify? No numbers or identifying marks.
I came home to the headless remains of one yesterday (courtesy of the local Buzzard) - it wasn't your usual pigeon, nor a dove; creamy white with beige bands on the wings. I was wondering if it was something rare/unusual and whether or not I should report it, if so, where?
As far as i know a red band iwith no marks on is just to help the owner idetify the sex females normally have the red bands

Just got back from my hols and snowman is still there just, no rebuilding and that will be 14 days on Monday

the next band is just starting to hit the coast i think this is the one that could turn to snow certainly looking heavy

We have had big fat wet flakes for an hour now, now turned to rain what is incredible is that we still have 2" of laying icy snow from last Monday

I am driving down to Disney Land Paris next Wednesday 11th for a few days, I know its a bit far out to give an accurate forecast but I have been looking around various sites and there seems to be a lot of difference between them on what the weather will be like

After a heavy snow shower this morning that gave a good covering before turning to rain for most of the day, Now snowing heavy again

Had about 6 to 7 inches overnight and it has been snowing constant all day

Paul this is how it feels for all us lot while you are out chasing in the US
Its been hit and miss here tonight as well as soon as it starts snowing it stops, got a bit of a covering but was hoping for more, i will be shocked if you do not get a good covering by the morning and you will be out with the kids unable to get to work unlike me who walks 100 yards and has no excuse of not getting there :lol:

This is looking strange according to NW radar we should be getting pounded now but if anything what we had earlier is starting to melt and clear skys

I think some people on here would benefit from paying a months subs for the NW radar it is spot on and great fun watching the showers come in
