After threatening all day the rain has finally arrived, albeit light and brief it is still welcome for the garden,

The unexpected pleasant evenings are always the best, glad you got your friend home safely, see what tomorrow brings

Late afternoon/early evening was the best part of the day today, no nagging cold breeze off the N sea either inland on the Wolds,

We do need some rain tho, just preferably at night, oh well good day to tackle Tesco's

11°c at 10pm feels quiet pleasant after the cool temps we have had in the evening's recently, first bits of drizzle in the air as well from the incoming carp heading our way!

Modern parlance would be 'meh' or in text speak 'cba'

There is a sense of deja vue on this thread, some like warm weather, some prefer it cooler, the same protagonist have the same debate year after year , why not accept it is up to personal preference? each to their own i suppose ?

Tbf thats only the far end of a what is a large garden, near the house is still shrubs and trees, plenty of safe passage for our spikey friends

Glorious day today round this part of Yorkshire, t-shirt weather all day, been out in the garden since 8am, even got a bit of a tan, just starting to cloud over a tad now,

Stunning day on the Wolds, been in a tee-shirt since 9am, picked a perfect day for us to erect a new 20 metre fence in a neighbours garden even got a bit of a tan

'Baltic weather' lol.....bit dramatic

'Inches' cider is quite popular on this part of the Wolds, highly recommended!

Still warm enough for a pint in the beer garden on the way home this evening, which is nicely sheltered from the North sea breeze

A great series of Tractors, popular on the Wolds and from an era just before mechanics/electronics got overly complicated, the 'whistle' from the 956xl is a great sound!
