  2. Without being ungrateful ... these Atlantic snapshots have helped me in discovering what's happening weather wise in Kansas...
  3. Invariably Easterlies always start like this ... and always the forum states .,'this is a dry ,cold easterly... then instability draws in a front from the east or a small cold pool creating heavy showers
  4. almost trollesque.... "well dones" can be handed out after the event surely ? not based on one set of runs... this holds true whatever the outcome

  6. Even up a red mires , on Hallam moors there is a good 7in covering. Under stanage edge yesterday afternoon there was 10 in of powder snow. A long hard walk back to Sheffield from Hathersage after we had to abandon the car because of accidents blocking all roads out.
  7. Well over 200m here in west sheffield and it's sleety snow. Too far south to pull the colder air?
  8. First snow shower in Crosspool , Sheffield at 18.50. 3c on car thermo so dewpoint must have dropped significantly
  9. had to walk upto stanage pole on Hallam Moors at 1,430 ft before rain turned to icy snow this afternoon . still deep drifts and probably 10ins of level snow left
  10. Get a grip man and post some unlikely, far reaching FI charts to keep us all hoping! We dont need to be in winter to get winter :-)
  11. "This run shows pretty us much in no mans land whilst the PV gathers it energys for an eventual full on Zonal onslaught, I could totally see this happening which would pretty much wipe out the rest of this month and Jan" Laughable! So many drama queens have joined the fold this yr.. Perhaps peoples age and the yr/month they joined should be added to post count so you can judge the maturity of the poster? ?
  12. And historically a brief warm spell and perhaps a couple of tries at an easterly before the real thing....
  13. This is bought up every yr... the east will be cold enough if the high is over scandi.. a couple of days is all it needs for the temp to drop significantly
  14. If your team won 1-0 last December it doesn't stop you getting excited when they win again 1-0 this year
  15. Yep a sprinkle in the Italian Alps http://webcam.popso.it/cm/pages/ServeBLOB.php/L/IT/IDPagina/28#
  16. Worth a forum scam to a rival newspaper to either up ante or totally discredit?
  17. Hi Could anyone give me a brief 'forecast' for Blackpool on this Fri/Sat/Sun please? My Son's U9 team are playing in a big tournament there. Last yr around this same weekend it was so cold and wet on the Sunday that we abandoned as the kids were in danger of hypothermia.. Thanks James
