    Invariably Easterlies always start like this ... and always the forum states .,'this is a dry ,cold easterly... then instability draws in a front from the east or a small cold pool creating heavy showers

    ' tomorrow's blip ' have constantly fallen on a Saturday . In S. Yorks / Derbyshire cricket league we will have had 8 games rained off or abandoned out of 18 this season .

    Even up a red mires , on Hallam moors there is a good 7in covering. Under stanage edge yesterday afternoon there was 10 in of powder snow. A long hard walk back to Sheffield from Hathersage after we had to abandon the car because of accidents blocking all roads out.

    had to walk upto stanage pole on Hallam Moors at 1,430 ft before rain turned to icy snow this afternoon . still deep drifts and probably 10ins of level snow left

So many drama queens have joined the fold this yr.. Perhaps peoples age and the yr/month they joined should be added to post count so you can judge the maturity of the poster? ?

    Hi Could anyone give me a brief 'forecast' for Blackpool on this Fri/Sat/Sun please? My Son's U9 team are playing in a big tournament there. Last yr around this same weekend it was so cold and wet on the Sunday that we abandoned as the kids were in danger of hypothermia.. Thanks James
