Hmmmm not as good ecm at 72 96 hours this morning!!thought northerly would be a bit sharper!!still good but i thought it would be better!!ukmo is the only model that shows what we want really!!on to the 06zs!!

Very very cold 850s from the ecm06z ensembles for my area out to 144 hours!!!!upgrade or similar to 00z!!

And boom just like that gfs joins ecm at 168 hours with a more amplified low in the eastern usa!!

Icon at 114 hours is an absolute belter!!colder air aligned more favourably and look at the increase in heights over the pole!!!brilliant!! @feb1991blizzard

Brilliant ecm and ukmo 00z run this morning!!really given me a good start to the day!!best thing is gfs is a mild outlier between 18 and 22nd!!all systems go!!!! Just to add ecm is a huge upgrade on yesterdays 12z in terms of cold on longevity!!!

Well i come back on this evening and gfs 18z decides to tonk me and @Battleground Snowwith nearly 24 hours of snow and 19cms deep!!
