I’m fingers crossed for an Indian summer -
I just use my phone for everything. I’d love to use my camera but I need a new SD card and keep forgetting to order one

Well that particular cloudscape fell apart and is now just raining.. and guess what; history is repeating; we are up the hill and my phone is dying.

Doesn’t show up as dark as it really is

Decided to make a dash for it after just one rumble of thunder as disntvfancy getting caught in hail.. and of course Mother Nature decided to turn the rain up a couple of notches as soon as we were clear of any shelter and my battery died so couldn’t grab any more pics. Watched what looked like a small funnel try to form over the sea but could have just been scud. Gave up when the rain eased and legged it home. So turns out the 35% storm chance at 7pm was one rumble and some rain

Was on galley hill then, It sure was dark north/northeast/northwest

This one has rolled towards the coast enough to get us wet, but it’s stopped doing anything interesting, though I spy a hail core on radar radar which I’m hoping doesn’t get this far as we are on foot

Saw it rolling in, checked the radar and dived up the hill now stuck sitting under the skate ramp in the rain in the edges of it

1% battery remaining and we are up the hill being rained on from the outer edges of the lovely cell to the north

Going north of town heading east

Got clouds to the north of town, was electrified and was headed southeast but now taken a turn and heading more east. Taking a walk up the hill to see if we can see anything in the distance

More funnel clouds across the uk, wow. Will catch one one day. will it thunder % has been sneaking up all day but trying not to get hopes up. Currently sat on the beach in a weird spot of rain, even though under a patch of blue sky and the sun is out. watching the sailing club getting ready to go out, the noise of the sails in the breeze is quite something.

Off to view the cloudscape from the beach and see what kind of colours the sunset throws out.. prepare for pictures lol

Add to that the flying wheelie bins and the sounds of seagulls screeching as they get blown into the wrong chimney stack.. and the roar of the sea and that’s my day

Wouldn’t keep a hood up here, can nearly keep myself up tried to walk the 3 mins to the sea.. ended up walking further away

I tried poppin’ my Umbrella.. it’s now somewhere a few hundred miles away

Thanks for the picture, I missed it tonight packing mini me off to the flat downstairs to her bestie for the night. mumma has the evening to herself.. and no storm

A weird one today, warm sunny and a little muggy, but boy that wind is blowing off the sea. ‘Windy corner’ (junction of the promenade road east/west with the main shopping road north/south) living up to its name, put your anchors down, breaks on and go up a few gears and you might get round without being blown into the safety railings (thankful they replaced them a few years back otherwise it was whoosh into the path of a bus)

Bored desperate lightning freak and mini lightning freak with no transport in East Sussex dying to go storm chasing! happy to jump on a train (as long as it’s not too far!) and contribute to petrol

Hope you’re enjoying your holiday, plenty of ice cream I hope?! (I recommend the lifeboat in hastings for the best fish and chips) hope the weather holds for you but I also hope it chucks a decent storm our way soon, it’s been a tad depressing watching the % chance constantly dropping
