    We need a decent cold spell, I've so many hats gloves and scarves piled up from my yearly Christmas gifts.

    Well I really did think that high was going to sink, not carry on up to Greenland.It just goes to show sometimes want you would expect to happen doesn't always with the weather.

    If the strat and trop pv couple does that mean the cold artic air becomes locked in and unable to wobble and wobble to the northern hemisphere?

    Momentum is building from the north and east and the purple blob wants to sit over ourside of the hemisphere for a change!!

    If that big Russian high moves northwards to the pole would the big purple slug slide underneath across across, or is that too simplistic?
