Trying to keep the hope here.. although rather wishing I hadn’t told my 6 year old it was coming, must have been asked 100 times. Fairly new to looking at radar, can anyone tell me what I’m looking for.. at the minute just looking at what’s over us at the moment. -
And some of us are going through all of these emotions in the space of an hour

Which forecast is best to be looking at, if not fully understanding the radars? Met office had 3 days of snow for where I am, now changed to sleet. Accuweather still showing snow but has decreased since yesterday. Not sure if looking at the wrong ones, or we are going to see sleet again!

Ha glad it’s not just me. Considering swapping bedrooms with my 6 year old as his window has a direct view of the lamppost. Just going to try and ignore the MO app, and try and figure the radars out over the next few days. Quite new to all this (not the love for weather), so steep learning curve! Hope you get plenty.

Yep, MO forecast pretty much the same for me about 3 miles from you. I’m trying to take on board what was said on here about disregarding it, but it is a bit disheartening. especially when we always see rain & sleep near the coast. Is it normal to spend all week getting excited, then as it gets closer start to panic it’s going to go wrong feel about 11 rather than 31 today!

They are showing nothing at all for mine, other than a couple of hours rain on Sunday morning!

Have been following this with way too much interest. Living low lying, by the coast, any snow always seems to fall as sleet/rain. From my limited understanding, this looks like we might get proper snow even on the coast this time.. someone please tell me I might be right
