  2. as the world warms up we will start getting more hot air in the uk id give it till around may 20 to june 1st before we get any real heat thats my look on it

  4. it was crazy yesterday we even had lightning in them really heavy showers around 8pm last night in macclesfield and we had hail too

  8. something really nastys devloping were i am theres a crazy looking shelf cloud theres been reports of golf ball sized hail comeing from it it looked crazy on radar theres rotaiton on its leading edge im currtley in the macclesfield area its crazy

  10. like i think that this summer will be a decent one with around 5 major heat events and some decent thunderstorms thats my views guys pls tell me what u think
  11. the position of the above avarage hights is crucial to determine whether the south of the uk gets the warm dry air of if its more north then then south will get the warm moist air well the north may get the hot dry humid air.hot humid air = the chance of higer instability there fore meaning u have a better chance of devloping severer more violent thunderstorms
  12. if we get warm air advection then u will be ok it just depends what side of the ridge of above average hights your on then u will be good to go but if the ridge is on the south east side or centered more towards france then u will pull more warmer air of the English channel
  13. i hope u get u turn this summer mother nature was very kind to us lest year we had about 12 thunderstorms 5 of them were severe all it takes is all the right ingredients to makea decent storm u need cape lift and a good level of deep layer shear then ur good to go mate

  15. yes i remember them very well 2018 was a shocker for me but last year was the winning one for me with that thunderstorm on 12 august 2020 it was epic more summers like that and i will be a happy chappy
  16. omg jo i love storm chasing im a 20 year old thats mad over weather id be happy doing storm chasing with ur team it will be fun

  18. ye as long as we get a decent thunderstorm season then im happy
  19. all i want is a summer that brings high humidty and some severe and decent thunderstorms u rekon we can get that
