    Bone dry and sunny spells today, with more sun than cloud here in the far east. Not warm, but pleasant enough to work in the garden in a Tee Shirt most of the day. Sorry that many others are having a bad day,I just hope the forecast is as wrong for this area for tomorrow as it was today.

    No sun in SE Suffolk since a glimpse at 7am. We won't reach the nice temps forecast. Although it is far from cold.

    Just come back from the Pub where we all sat in the sun in the pub garden in shirtsleeves. Most enjoyable. Not just sunny but pleasant.

    struggling up to 1cm on cold dry surfaces only, some lazy flakes in the air, mostly wet ones. not amounting to much so far.

    Now the radar showing something completely different in the last few frames. It's the east coast snow shield.

    Er No, sorry. Many reports in other threads of radar echoes, but no precip. Atmospheric issues, or maybe technical ones with the radar.

    Not in the true "South East" we didn't, maybe half a cm so far.

    the heaviest precip is right overhead now, and it is, guess what RAIN

    None of the tv or radio forecasts now mention any more snow/rain for East Anglia, this evening. Where the hell did that go? Not sure how we would have got 10cm from what has passed this afternoon, regardless of the early arrival of warmer uppers. Poor forecasts only 2-3 hours ago.

    not sure where this projected heavy precip is going to come from, euro radar looks very uninspiring. warmer temps have hit here now, melt progressing, a few flakes still falling.

    I am 17 miles inland from Harwich and still snowing moderately. For now at least.

    5 Miles north of town - level snow here doesn't even cover my little finger nail (and i am fully grown too) :lol:
