    We’ll that was a wild couple of hours. some of the strikes were so close that I’m sure one must’ve hit the telegraph pole outside or the satellite dish. think that next system from north Wales is headed this way now too.

    I can’t keep up with all the action here. Just had the most torrential downpour and hail. It’s is wild out there.

    yep - looks like it's going to be a wild day. heavy shower just appeared out of nowhere here. bit early for any thunder / lightning, but probably a sign of things to come.

    aye - torrential rain and plenty of decent rumbles, as best as i could make out while i was working out in my garage.. of course no windows so couldn't see anything fingers cross for more action for the rest of the afternoon

    This is one of the Manchester storms taken from Warrington. Think I can hear the odd rumble but this one might pass us by like yesterday’s.

    Took this briefly earlier. Looking at the radar it’s passing over north Manchester now. Don’t think it’s coming any further west unfortunately. Not as active as it was further north either. IMG_5561.MP4

    desperately hoping that whatever is going on over Burnley and over the yorkshire dales extends down as far as liverpool/ warrington - even if we just get the air moving to kill this stillness off..

    Yeah pretty much the same here. Hoping whatever is fuelling the downpours will fuel some storms later when it’s hopefully a bit warmer.

    It’s working on it here. But think we’ll just get a load or rain. Seems to have drifted east of us. Northwich and knutsford seem to be getting it.
