Blizzards, still coming down nicely, small flakes but plenty of them, not masses of lying snow yet though, maybe a couple of inches so far

Remember Jan 2004, I was working at the Waterfront at Merry Hill, and I lived 4 miles away, took me 5 hours to drive home! Ridiculous! Rain today radar showing band pepping up now

But it def looks like the band that's been around us for a while has stalled, it's hardly budged in the last hour or so, it's given us a nice light covering now, including on my road, though I imagine the main roads as completely clear, it's surely setting us up nicely for what's to come later though? How am I going to sleep tonight???

Do you think so? Looks like its curling round and up, exactly as forecast, but I'm rubbish with this stuff to be honest, just an excited amateur!

According to lots of people in other threads and model discussion the band just making landfall isn't the big one, that's not hit the radar yet, but you can see it on sat24.com images

Well I'm very excited :-) sat in the lounge with no lights on so I can watch the snow fall in the street lights, lucky enough to have one directly outside my window

Seems a bit heavier here in Stourbridge now, I know it's not very technical but the sky looks full of it

The met seem to be changing every few mins, personally think their web/apps are playing up

Larger flakes, readily settling on all surfaces now, nice little bonus
