    thats me off to bed as it looks like work in the morning sadly ! stopping now and only about 2/3 cms on my street (will still probably be up peeping out the window every couple of hours just in case) :-)

    small world indeed :-) i went over the handle bars of my bike on LFE estate in the 80's in the snow ! fingers crossed for you, with any luck you can get to Weston Park tomorrow for sledging !

    is LE3 Leicester Forrest East ?? if it is, i grew up there and remember really deep snow on a few occasions in the 80's and 90's ! i know i had to walk to what was the co-op in about a foot of snow for toilet rolls about 18/19 yrs ago :-)

    absolutely, but they are only repeating what they have been consistently saying about this winter, its the media that have been saying we are going to have a big freeze, not the met office !

    Hi all, has everyone seent he update on the met office site regarding the cold winter. They seem to be playing down all the media hype !
