    i feel april is when we will start to see some of the one of first events of the season. it could be earlier if we get some warmth from france pushing up a few storms. i guess that the west will be the first to start the storm season followed by the rest of the country later on. hopefully this year is better than last year for the south and south east, and a few stormy days for those up north.

    The wind is super load now, I can feel it shaking the house. Neighbours Chairs have been flung across their garden and power lines swinging violently. Also trees are bending a concerning amount.

    Winds have died down here for now Is that line of rain starting to organise a bit?

    I’m surprised that iow hasn’t seen some 60-70 mph gusts yet

    Something feels very different about this storm compared to others. It has a different feel to it. The way that the gusts almost have no gap and the way things are getting blown around is slightly unusual for this neck of the woods. The only things this reminds me of is Eunice and that thunderstorm that we had in June 2019/2018 I can’t remember what year but I think the date was 18/19th and it was a Wednesday?

    Wrapping around ( hooking ) breaking in squal lines too but they don’t always mean tornadoes and eye whitenesses. Probs some others I haven’t said

    Only issue is my roofs tiles come loose in summer out of the blue. They should last hopefully

    Yeah, we normally get these winds but wooden siding is breaking loose and I watched a trampoline go flying ( not ours )

    You think the south east could end up being impacted by a squal that forms considering that there is already one trying to form near Cardiff and something of interest near the Cherbourg peninsula

    A few more gusts have come along and they are even worse than the last. You can feel them whilst Laying in your bed.

    Sudden gust just hit here that was mental. It sounded like things were blowing over and I also heard a metal pole.

    Very squally. Wouldn’t be surprised if the winds in that reached 80-90 mph

    Same here, nothing much different from the average winter storm. Unless it can pull itself together down here in the next 4-5 hours, I wouldn’t expect much. I am quite thankful that we arnt seeing the worst of this down here otherwise we probably would end up with quite a bit of damage and a little bit of flooding too.

    strongest gust here is 4.5 mph, this will increase within the next 4 hours

    same here. 4 hours of the maximum winds, all models except for icon show us getting 65-75 mph gusts for about 4 hours with 40 mph not easing off until about 9 am on Monday. bound to change but this is the latest from my area. at midnight on Monday, the windspeed is expected to be about 40mph

    the models have been back and forth, there is still alot of time for things to change considering it is still well out at sea and only starting to form.
