Not historically....but as the seas warm and climate change gets worse. Then the risk increases of hurricanes occuring here. Like I said before soon we will have to redefine all Meteorology.

I'm guessing the amount of rain and saturated ground might cause issues. But you have to remember the source of your electricity starts above ground somewhere

I might have to disagree with you ...the centre is still forecasted to move NE and not due to hit South East for at least 12hrs... Also, the back edge of the storm is looking pretty nasty as well...

You're a fair few hours away from anything yet..you're predicted to get a hit from NW once the low passes. So I wouldn't count your chickens yet

Good points... I believe with the ever increasing Climate Change. The weather we see will most likely drastically alter in terms of how Meteorology is currently used in models and predictions. The way our weather forms and ultimately presents itself will be something the models can't deal with. In reality the odd school methods of Meteorology with inevitably be redesigned and in some cases thrown out altogether.

Well K1 bouy has dropped 22mb in just 6hrs.. currently 961mb. Looking on nullschool it did shift a little north after exiting the jet stream. West side winds also getting stronger...next few hours of development could be interesting..

This so called mild interlude seems to be getting delayed more and more. What's the chances of it not happening at all??
